Details

Since South Sudan's civil war began in 2013, Dinka government forces and Nuer militias have tortured, raped, and killed hundreds of thousands civilians based on ethnicity. Today, 8.3 million people depend on humanitarian aid, 4.5 million children are malnourished, and 1.6 million people are IDPs. Renewed violence threatens the country's fragile peace deal.
