Details
Since late 2016, government security forces have been engaged in violent conflict with armed separatist groups in the anglophone region of Cameroon. This violent clash has killed at least 4,000 civilians. Simultaneously, since 2014 Boko Haram has been expanding its quest to eliminate western education and create an Islamic state in Cameroon’s far north region. At least 80 civilians have been killed as a result of Boko Harams actions from December 2020 to April 2021.
