Details
In Bulgaria, many Roma live in segregated communities, with limited accesss to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. Targeted lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic worsened anti-Roma discrimination. Isolatd from the rest of Bulgaria and blamed for the virus, these communities struggle to access clean water, electricity, and food.
