Timestream: The Yemen Crisis

By Danna Wilken and Sarah Kane

Genocide Watch staff have published the fifth Timestream in a series of critical genocides in the world.

The war in Yemen between the Houthis and Saudi-led Coalition has severely affected the civilian population. The people continue to experience famine, cholera, and thousands of casualties. UN programs meant to address the humanitarian crisis are dangerously underfunded. Yemen is in a state of genocide. This Timestream illustrates the rise of the Houthi rebels in Yemen and the resulting war and humanitarian crisis through the events of July 2020.
