Genocide Watch staff have published the thirteenthTimestream in a series of critical genocides in the world.
This Timestream highlights important events in South Sudan prior to its emergence as an independent state in 2011 through the events leading up to the outbreak of civil war and genocide in 2013. Though Peace agreements have been signed, the violence continues. The existing humanitarian efforts of international and domestic NGOs are not enough to help the South Sudanese people escape from genocide.
