Genocide Watch staff have published the twenty-first Timestream in a series of critical genocides in the world.
This Timestream covers the Nanjing Massacre of December 1937 in which Japanese forces carried out systematic killings and rape against Nanjing, China's civilians. The estimated death toll is 200,000-300,000, and hundreds of thousands of women were raped. Despite significant and clear evidence of this massacre, Japan has never formally acknowledged this event and continues to deny that genocide occurred in Nanjing.
